Personal, household & health-care support · Springfield & Northern Virginia

Daily help at home, from a caregiver your family can trust.

When bathing, dressing, cooking, or keeping the house together has become too much, a Joy caregiver takes it on with dignity and privacy in mind — round the clock if needed. Add medication reminders, vital-signs checks, and rides to the doctor, and the same team keeps your loved one safe, fed, and on track at home.

Questions

What families ask first.

What does personal care cost?

Care is priced by the hour on the schedule you choose. After the assessment you'll have a written plan showing the days, hours, and price before committing to anything.

How do I get my parent to accept help?

Start with the assessment — it's a conversation, not a commitment. Many parents who "don't want a babysitter" warm quickly to a caregiver matched to their personality who shows up as good company.

Can we start with just a few hours?

Yes. A few visits a week is the most common starting point. The plan grows only if your family wants it to.

Who will be in my mother's home?

A caregiver who has passed examinations, interviews, criminal-background verification, previous-work checks, and training certification — and who was matched to her condition and preferences. If it isn't the right fit, tell us and we change it.

Meet a care coordinator before anything begins.

Ask the hard questions. Get a written care plan with the schedule and price. Then decide, together as a family.
